Induction training for IP&TAFS OTs
The Institute conducts induction training of IP&TAFS Group ‘A’ probationers with the aim to develop Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) and acquire the right ethics by imparting theoretical knowledge through carefully and well-designed training modules. After recruitment through the Civil Services Examination, the officers undergo a Foundation Course (4 months) at a Training Academy allotted by DoPT, followed by 6 months of professional training at NIFM, Faridabad. At NCA-F, they are trained in Telecom & Postal functions and other administrative modules. The officers are deputed for on-the-job training to create awareness and acquire practical skills. The total duration of Group ‘A’ probationary training at NCA-F is 104 weeks.
