In-service Training
It is very necessary to train officers of various levels of seniority at different stages in their career, as it helps to build ‘next level competency’. MCT equips them with the necessary skills required for performing their jobs better.
The three stages in which compulsory Mid Career Training (MCT) is provided to IP&TAFS officers are:
MCTP – I – For officers who have completed 07–09 years of service
MCTP – II – For officers who have completed 14–16 years of service
MCTP – III – For officers who have completed 26–28 years of service
NCA-F regularly organises events such as workshops, conferences, hands-on sessions, webinars, refresher courses, etc., as part of the in-service training for serving Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’, and Group ‘C’ officers/officials. These events are held throughout the year at regular intervals to enhance knowledge and sharpen the skills of officers/officials in their core areas of work.
NCA-F covers core competency areas like USO, Revenue Management, Pension, Technology Familiarization, Government Procurement Processes, Analysis of Financial Statements, etc., once every quarter. In addition, it organises need-based courses like Office Management, Accounts Closing, PVA Software Training, and Workshops for DDOs, etc.
