Induction Training for Group B.

The Officers of IP&TAFS Gr. B (Gazetted) cadre serve Department of Telecom in the area of Spectrum Auction & Management, License Fee collections as a part of non-tax revenue, Internal Auditing, Accounting and budgeting, PFMS, Handling of legal matters, Subsidy disbursement for various projects of Department of Telecom. Pension disbursal of retirees, financial advice, Asset management to DoT, Social impact assessment etc. and Department of Posts in the area of Financial Advice, Postal Accounting and budgeting, Internal Audit functions, Pension disbursal authorities, PLI Schemes, Core System Integration, Business Development etc. Apart from training on these departmental essentials, NICF also imparts Hands-on training on SAMPANN, e-Office, LIMBS, Advance Excel.

During the 08 weeks training, the trainees are provided extracurricular activities as well such as Yoga lessons for trainees in the morning, 02 days Khelo-India Sports Programme, Cultural Programme for the trainees and One week off campus study/exposure visit at another esteemed governmental institute.

NICF has successfully trained 980 AAOs in 24 batches of 08 weeks Induction Training of AAOs recruited through LDCE 2018. During current Financial Year 2023-24, 11407 Man-days have been earned. Further, training of AAOs recruited through LDCE 2022 is scheduled in upcoming batches from March 2024 onwards.
