Induction training for IP&TAFS OTs
The Institute conducts induction training of IP&TAFS Group ‘A’ probationers with aim to develop Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) and acquiring right ethics by imparting theoretical knowledge on carefully and well-designed training modules. After recruitment through Civil Services Examination, the officers undergo Foundation Course (4 months) at a Training Academy allotted by DoPT, followed by 6 months of professional training at NIFM, Faridabad. At NICF, they are trained in Telecom & Postal functions and other administrative modules. The officers are deputed for on the job training to create awareness and acquired practical skills. Total duration of group ‘A’ probationary training at NICF is 104 weeks.
