In-service Training
It is very necessary to train officers of various levels of seniority at different stages in their career as it helps to build ‘next level competency” MCT equip them with the necessary skills required for performing their jobs better.
The three stages in which compulsory Mid Career Training (MCT) are provided to IP&TAFS officers are : –
- MCTP – I – The officers completed with 07-09 years of Service
- MCTP- II – The officers completed with 14-16 years of Service
- MCTP- III – The officers completed with 26-28 years of Service
The NICF regularly organises events such as workshop, conference, Hands-on, webinars, refresher courses etc. as part of the in-service training for serving Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ officers/officials. These events are held throughout the year at regular intervals to enhance the knowledge and sharpen the skills of officers/officials in their core area of work.
The NICF covers the core competency areas like USO, Revenue Management, Pension, Technology Familiarization, Procurement process in Government, Analysis of Financial Statements etc. once in every quarter. In addition, it organizes need based courses like Office Management, Accounts Closing, PVA Software Training and Workshop for DDOs etc.
