The Officers of IP&TAFS Gr. C cadre serve Department of Telecom in the area of Spectrum Auction & Management, License Fee collections as a part of non-tax revenue, Internal Auditing, Accounting and budgeting, PFMS, Handling of legal matters, Subsidy disbursement for various projects of Department of Telecom. Pension disbursal of retirees, financial advice, Asset management to DoT, Social impact assessment etc. Apart from training on these departmental essentials, NCA-F also imparts Hands-on training on SAMPANN, e-Office, LIMBS, Advance Excel.

During the 06 weeks training, the trainees are provided extracurricular activities as well such as Yoga lessons for trainees in the morning, Khelo-India Sports Programme, Cultural Programme for the trainees and One week off campus study/exposure visit at another esteemed governmental institute.
