Two-day Workshop on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) from 15.04.2026 to 16.04.2026

The objective of the training program is to create awareness regarding the procedures and practical aspects of tendering and e-procurement through the GeM portal. The programme is designed to provide participants with hands-on exposure to system functionalities while addressing common challenges faced during procurement processes. It aims to facilitate effective compliance with established procedures, enhance operational efficiency, and promote optimal utilization of the GeM platform. With a strong focus on practical and technical solutions, the training will address issues typically encountered during tendering and e-procurement activities on the GeM portal. It seeks to build the capacity of participants by strengthening their understanding of procurement processes and equipping them with the necessary skills to navigate digital procurement systems effectively. The programme will also enhance participants’ proficiency in using e-procurement platforms for efficient and transparent procurement. It will familiarize them with key features of the GeM portal, including registration, bidding, and purchasing processes, as well as provide clarity on procurement concepts, including procurement through GeM and direct purchase mechanisms.
