Skill Development Training Program of Senior Accountants of Department of Telecom- reg.

The objective of this Skill Development Training Programme for Senior Accountants is to enhance the professional knowledge, administrative efficiency, and financial management skills of officials working in the Department of Telecommunications. Conducted by the National Communications Academy–Finance, the programme aims to familiarise participants with important government rules, procedures, and digital systems required for effective discharge of their duties.
The training focuses on strengthening understanding of service matters, conduct rules, pension, recruitment procedures, vigilance issues, and financial regulations such as GFR 2017, GeM, PFMS, pay fixation, and MACP. It also provides practical exposure to digital tools like SAMPANN, SARAS, MS Excel, and AI-based office applications to improve workplace productivity and efficiency.
In addition, the programme emphasises ethical governance, workplace discipline, gender sensitization, and professional conduct to promote transparency, accountability, and an inclusive work environment. Overall, the training is designed to build a skilled and competent workforce capable of supporting efficient public administration and financial operations within the department.
