Organizing One Week Management Development Program at IIM, Calcutta

The week-long Management Development Programme aims to build a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance principles with a focus on transparency, accountability, and efficiency, while also deepening participants’ knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016. It seeks to familiarize officers with key concepts such as the waterfall mechanism and treatment of government dues, and to examine the interlinkages between corporate governance and insolvency frameworks, particularly in regulated sectors like telecom. The programme also emphasizes exposure to best practices through expert-led sessions and real-life case studies, enhances understanding of the roles of key stakeholders including Resolution Professionals, NCLT, and NCLAT, and provides insights into cross-border insolvency and global practices, thereby equipping participants with practical and policy-relevant expertise.
