Conduct of Training Program on Legal Matters and LIMBS for Gr. A/ Gr. B officers in DoP (HQ) and PAO

The two-day programme is designed to build comprehensive capacity in litigation management by integrating foundational legal knowledge with practical digital case handling. While the first day strengthens officers’ understanding of legal procedures, drafting of affidavits, contempt matters, compliance reporting, and coordination with Government Counsel, the second day provides hands-on training on the Legal Information Management and Briefing System (LIMBS) for real-time case entry, monitoring, and MIS-based reporting. Together, the programme aims to enhance litigation preparedness, ensure timely and accurate compliance with court directions, reduce pendency and legal risks, and promote greater accountability and transparency in departmental litigation management.
